The Pantene-sponsored Gen-Next Award this year was presented to Deneth at the recently-concluded Colombo Fashion Week.
The Gen-Next Award introduced at last year’s CFW is aimed at recognising emerging design talent and providing them the right platform and exposure to come to the forefront.
Pantene’s sponsorship of the Gen-Next Award showcases the brand’s commitment to transforming local talent and enabling them to realise their true potential as Pantene is also about transforming your hair to make you look more beautiful.
P&G Brand Manager for Pantene Vineet Kumar said: “We were very happy to be the Official Hair Care Partner in the CFW 2012 and sponsor such a significant award which creates opportunities for young local designers. No doubt this award will give the right confidence and exposure to Deneth and we wish her all the best in her design aspirations.”
In addition at the Colombo Fashion Week, Pantene picked out five ladies with the best maintained hair and presented them with gift hampers courtesy of Pantene.
Over the years P&G and its leading hair care brand Pantene have been associated with fashion weeks around the globe, namely the London Fashion Week, etc
With a presence lasting more than 60 years, Pantene is a well known global hair care brand which epitomizes healthy beautiful hair. 150 million women in over 40 countries have tried it and believe that Pantene can help minimise hair care problems such as hair loss, split ends and tangled hair in just 14 days.
Pantene is handled by Grey. Grey has been the event manager for CFW for the last eight years. “There was a good fit between Pantene the world’s no. 1 hair care brand and a glamorous event like CFW. Hence we recommended this association,” said Grey Colombo CEO/Vice President Vijay Jacob.
