The CSR Trust of Commercial has donated medical equipment worth nearly Rs 1.5 million to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital under a community programme to enhance medical facilities at hospitals in the country.
Five Multiparameters and an equal number of Infusion Pumps were donated by the bank under this community initiative to the Neonatal Unit of the hospital.
Multiparameters are employed to monitor the health condition of patients while Infusion Pumps are used to infuse fluids such as medication or nutrient to the circulatory system.
Commercial Bank also donated Rs. 2 million for the tiling of a ward at the Jaffna General (Teaching) Hospital earlier this year.
