Anchor has been voted by Sri Lankans as the Hot Beverage Brand of the Year and joint winner of the Youth Choice FMCG Brand of the Year at the SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards 2016.
The Awards are held annually by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and Nielsen Sri Lanka, and is the country’s largest public poll on its favourite brands.
Made by Fonterra Brands Sri Lanka, Anchor has been providing high quality dairy nutrition to Sri Lankans for more than 38 years.
The company’s General Manager of Marketing and Emerging Markets Vidya Sivaraja said, “It is a great honour to win these SLIM Nielsen People’s Awards, particularly because they are voted by consumers.
“These awards are a further endorsement that consumers have so much trust in the Anchor brand, and I know all of our 750 employees, partners and farmers are proud to be able to bring Anchor to millions of Sri Lankans each day.
