As a way of giving back to society, Alumex also conducts fabricator training courses in its fully equipped training school at Makola in order to propagate the usage of aluminium in building construction work. These courses are conducted free of charge by well experienced staffs that are fully conversant with the trade.
Alumex has conducted training for over 2,000 participants and at present has exclusively signed up with the Vocational Training Institute to conduct the level 3 fabricator training programs in five centres in the Northern Province (Jaffna, Vauniya, Kilinocchi, Mannar and Mullaitivu) and in Galle, Ratnapura, Kurunegala and Ratmalana.

Alumex also prides itself on providing superior after-sales service and support. Customers can benefit from site visits, on-site training and troubleshooting as and when required. All their products are provided with warranties with periods up to 10 years.
With the rapid growth in the construction industry, Alumex has seen a considerable increase in demand for the products they manufacture. With the influx of high-rise constructions, aluminium extrusions have become an invaluable product mainly due to its ability to substitute timber based products.
Taking advantage of this factor, Alumex has constantly supported the construction industry and has been the Principal Sponsor of the Architects Exhibition for the last five years and will continue its affiliation this year as well.
