Ranee Ratnayake a recipient of the National Woman Entrepreneurship Award and Winner at the Global Conference of Women Entrepreneurs, New Delhi, has no doubt been an expert in entrepreneurship. She was the Chairperson/Managing Director of Eric Rajapakshe Co. Ltd., for 24 years, was the former MD of ICON Int’l Lens Manufacturing Co. Ltd., and currently the Owner of A&A International Opticians and its Senior Optometrist/Optician.
Ranee is the Governor and signatory – Sri Lanka National Arbitration Centre, Corporate Mediator – Chamber of Commerce Media Board, Fellow and Past President of Sri Lanka Optometrists Association. She has been the President and Executive Member of Sri Lanka Women’s Conference , Women’s Chamber of Industry, Benelux Business Council and Member of both SLIM, SLID, and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, UK, among her other positions in society are Past President Zonta Club 11 Colombo, Member International Alliance of Women, Sri Lanka Women’s Forum, Sri Lanka Federation of University Women Asian Productivity Organisation, Japan, OPA Founder Member of the Management Club and Enable the Disabled.
Ranee holds an LOC Optics UK and MBA from Warnborough University, UK. She has been a Chief Guest and keynote speaker at many high profile events.
