The sustainability buzz

The profession of management and the apparel industry have one thing in common – There is always something in fashion.

Sustainability seems to be the new buzz and it makes CSR look rather old fashioned! Very simply, sustainability means finding ways to conserve energy while using more renewable sources of energy. However, I would argue that organisations can save a lot of ‘human energy’ by taking the slack off their structures, processes and systems and minimising organisational politics. It would make the world greener and cleaner by far!
