Separate state

I noted with interest that Karunanidhi is keen to establish a separate state for the Tamils of the world. I think he has an excellent opportunity of doing so in the State of Tamil Nadu, and I am sure India would now be happy to consider such a request if it is made jointly by Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha.

Instead of attempting to impose such a Tamil state in the tiny island of Sri Lanka, Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha together would do well to commence a discussion in India to have the State of Tamil Nadu declared as a separate state.

Then, Tamils from all over the world, including Sri Lanka, can make Tamil Nadu their home and all can live happily ever after. Given the current stance displayed by the USA, I am sure Jayalalitha could enlist the support of Hillary Clinton also for that cause.
