Slain Editor Lasantha Wickrematunge’s brothers Lal and Anil along with Lal’s daughters Raisa and Minal light candles at Lasantha’s gravesite at Kanatte yesterday, to mark the fifth anniversary of his murder. Although five years have passed since the Founder Editor of The Sunday Leader was killed by armed men, to date the case has not been solved. In 2010, Wickrematunge was declared a World Press Freedom Hero of the International Press Institute       Slain Editor Lasantha Wickrematunge’s nieces Raisa and Minal participate in a memorial service held at Lasantha’s gravesite at Kanatte yesterday, with his portrait in the backdrop     – Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
