The 25th death anniversary of Wijaya Kumaratunga will be commemorated with an event to celebrate his life. The event will be held on Wednesday February 27 from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., at the Bishop’s College Auditorium.
A memorial oration titled ‘Can South Asia face the challenges of its prevailing governance crisis,’ will be delivered by the President of the Center for policy Research, New Delhi, Prof. Pratap Bhanu Mehta.
A book titled ‘Wijaya’ will be launched on this occasion and a short documentary film on ‘Wijaya, his Life and Work’ will-be screened as well. Participation in this event will be strictly by invitation.
