Upgrades for Applied Science Faculty, South Eastern University

A newly-built administration block and faculty building for the Applied Science Faculty of the South Eastern University were declared open at the Samanthuri Girls’ Hostel complex in Oluwil on 13 June. The foundation stone for the canteen complex was also opened on the same day by Ministry of Higher Education and Research Secretary P. Ranepura. The Additional Secretary of the Ministry, P.G. Jayasinghe, Engineer L.S.H. Gamage, Vice Chancellor of the South Eastern University M.S.S. Ismil, SEUDP Project Director Jayantha Samarakoon and University Registrar Sarthar were also present at the occasion.
