UNP deputy leader Karu Jayasuriya told a press conference on the Grama Charika porgramme that through the party’s latest programme; it hopes to reach out to the rural voter in order to strengthen the rural vote base.
The UNP Working Committee last month approved the Grama Charika programme aimed at taking the party policies to the grass roots level prior to the local government elections.
The programme is to commence on Saturday (30) from the Horana electorate.
