Two policemen attached to the Chunnakam police station in Jaffna have been hospitalised with stab wounds yesterday.
Police sources said the officers were attacked by two unidentified persons who had arrived in a motorbike. They have suffered non-life threatening injuries following the attack. A police investigation was launched to identify the suspects, an official added.
