The Sacred Relics of the Lord Buddha taken from Mahiyangana RajamahaViharaya for exposition in the Buddhamanthan Temple in Thailand were brought back to Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand WissanuKrea-ngam and a 23-member delegation arrived in Sri Lanka carrying the Sacred Relics of Lord Buddha. President Maithripala Sirisena inaugurated the exposition of the Sacred Relics from Mahiyangana RajamahaViharaya, in the Buddhamanthan Temple in Thailand on 2 November and the exposition continued until 16 November – Picby Kumarasiri Prasad, Airport Correspondent
