The national carrier SriLankan Airlines will operate a special flight from Tokyo (Narita Airport) to Colombo on Thursday, 17 March, in order to assist Sri Lankans who wish to return home from Japan, due to the current situation prevailing in the aftermath of the earthquake in Japan.
The flight UL1423 will depart Tokyo at 16.30 hrs on 17 March and arrive in Colombo at 0015 hrs on 18 March.
The Airline states that as Sri Lanka’s sole national carrier it was duty bound to help our citizens in such special circumstances, and therefore consider this an opportunity to fulfil its national obligations. SriLankan Airlines will continue to operate its regular scheduled weekly flights to Tokyo.
