Sri Lanka ready to welcome Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith

The Archdiocese of Colombo has made all the arrangements to welcome Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith today, 27 November, at 8.15 a.m. at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake.

The Apostolic Nuncio in Sri Lanka Archbishop Joseph Spiteri, the Catholic Bishops of Sri Lanka, the Episcopal Vicars of the Archdiocese, the Administrative Council, Deans, several other Rev. Fathers, other religious dignitaries and representatives of the government and the opposition will welcome His Eminence at the Airport.



Thereafter Cardinal Malcolm will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka, Tewatta, Ragama, to pay his tribute to Late Thomas Cardinal Cooray, the Servant of God, and will bless the faithful gathered at the Basilica. He then will proceed to the Archbishop’s House to be welcomed by the Presbyterium of the Archdiocese.
