Sri Lanka Police celebrates 149th anniversary

The 149th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Police was celebrated along with religious observances in all parts of Sri Lanka and the Muslim religious observance was held on 3 September at 5:30 a.m. after the early morning prayers at the Dewatagaha Jumma Mosque, Colombo 7. A special prayer was offered for the police officers who passed away on duty. Senior Deputy General of Police and Muslim police officers also participated at this event.
