The Sri Lanka-India Parliamentary Friendship Association was established on Wednesday, 24 February, in the Parliament of Sri Lanka, under the auspices of Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala, Leader of the Opposition R. Sampanthan, High Commissioner of India Y.K. Sinha and a large number of ministers and MPs. The office bearers of the association posed for a group picture.
