Deputy Minister of External Affairs Neomal Perera and Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation Gitanjana Gunawardena represented President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the swearing-in of Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya’s President-elect.
Kenyatta is the son of the founding father and the first President of the nation. Vice President William Ruto also took oaths on this occasion.
