Speaker of the State of Victoria meets Deputy Speaker

Australian Speaker of the Parliament of Victoria, Telmo Languiller, visited Sri Lanka recently, accompanied by his spouse, Tatiana Astudillo.

Visiting the Parliament of Sri Lanka, he met Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala. In a cordial discussion that ensued, the many areas of mutual cooperation and understanding were discussed, further underscoring the friendly ties that exist between the two countries.

Also present on the occasion were the Deputy High Commissioner of Australia in Sri Lanka, Tim Huggins, Barrister Don Susantha Katugampala and Mohan de Silva.
