Soft skills after leadership

The Higher Education Minister of Sri Lanka is to initiate a pre-orientation programme for the university students where they would be taught English, Information Technology and soft skills.

The Higher Education Ministry together with the Education Ministry is to launch this programme following the leadership training programme that is currently underway.

The course would be conducted for a period of three months and is expected to help the upliftment of students before they enter university.

Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayake has said at the launch of the programme that the initiative would help develop a balanced student population who would excel in whatever field they choose. (www.colombopage.com)
