The Sri Lanka police has established relations with Scotland Police to strengthen the course for training for its personnel in discharging their duties to the public.
Accordingly, a conference was held between the Inspector General of Police, Pujith Jayasundara and a group of representatives of Scotland Police, including Superintendent of Police, Mark Francis Anderson on Friday at the Police Headquarters.
This conference was held with the objective of strengthening relation between Scotland Police regarding the training courses on management of public peace. Accordingly, steps will be taken to strengthen the course for training trainers.
Many high ranking police officers including Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Administration, C. D. Wickramarathne and Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Special Task Force, International Relational, Recruitment and Training, M. R. Latiff participated at this occasion.
