Sri Lanka’s new High Commissioner for Uganda, T. Raveenthiran presented credentials to President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, on 8 February at State House, Entebbe, Uganda.
Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Kenya is concurrently accredited to Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Sudan. The High Commissioner conveyed the warm wishes of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and people of Sri Lanka to the President and the people of Uganda. The High Commissioner also thanked the Ugandan President and the Government of Uganda for all the support and cooperation extended to Sri Lanka. The Ugandan President requested the High Commissioner to convey his personal greetings and that of his government to the President and the people of Sri Lanka.
