The President’s Media Unit said that a delegation led by Bathiudeen had met the President today and conveyed the decision to support the President at the polls.
At the talks, the All Ceylon Makkal Congress had also handed over some proposals to be implemented by the Government.
The President had told the All Ceylon Makkal Congress that everyone has a right to practice their religion in Sri Lanka and he will ensure that right is protected.
