Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe told reporters in Chennai yesterday that he was disappointed over the election process for the Northern Provincial Council polls in his country.
“We are disappointed,” Wickramasinghe told reporters at the airport after he landed yesterday, adding, the demand of the opposition parties to post election observers for the provincial elections has not been met.
Wickremesinghe added that he was disappointed that a civilian had not been made Governor in the North ahead of the polls. (PTI)
