Transparency International Sri Lanka has organised a public meeting to discuss Sri Lanka’s action plan for open governance.
This public discussion will be held at the auditorium of the Organization of Professional Associations (OPA), Prof. Stanley Wijesundera Mawatha, Colombo 7 on Thursday 24 November at 4.00 p.m.
The Cabinet has recently approved the action plan developed by civil society along with government officials under the Open Government Partnership. Sri Lanka gained membership in the OGP in 2015.
This discussion is open to the public. The panellists at the discussion will be Dr. Vinya Ariyarathne, the General Secretary of the Sarvodaya Movement, Hemanthi Gunesekere and Puspi Weerakoon. The discussion will be moderated by senior journalist and science writer Nalaka Gunewardene.
