Principals advised to take care of text books

THE Educational Publications Department has called upon all School Principals and Officers in Charge of Centres handling the distribution of text books to take precautionary measures to protect the text books due to the prevailing inclement weather.

Commissioner General for Educational Publications W.M.N. J.Pushpakumara in a special statement noted that 87 per cent of the text books for the year 2011 had already been issued to schools and the Government expects to distribute them among the students before the year end.
