The Presidential Secretariat said yesterday it has been brought to the notice of the President’s office that various people are making calls to the Police and other Public Institutions, saying they are Coordinating Secretaries and other senior officials attached to the Presidential Secretariat.
“Please note that only Mr Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to the President and Mr Gamini Senerath, Chief of Staff are authorised to convey instructions of H.E the President.
Police officials, Officials and others attached to Public Institutions are advised to bring it to the notice of the Secretary to the President and the Chief of Staff, if they receive any such calls in the future,” said the notice issued by Presidential Spokesman Bandula Jayasekara.
