Police ban VIP and VVIP labels

The police will enforce a strict ban on the use of VIP and VVIP labels on vehicles. According to the Government Information Department, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in charge of Traffic Administration and Road Safety has directed all Police stations to take action to remove VIP and VVIP labels and stickers from vehicles on the road. The DIG has also instructed all Police stations to punish errant drivers if they continue to have VIP and VVIP stickers and labels on the vehicles despite the ban.
