The Pathfinder Foundation recently signed an MOI with the Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi. This follows a recent meeting Pathfinder Foundation Founder Milinda Moragoda had with the foundation’s Director Ajit Doval in New Delhi.
The two foundations will work towards enhancing economic relations between the two countries; deepening civilisational links, including the exploration of the possibility of promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between the leading Hindu and Buddhist establishments of the two countries; jointly organising lectures/seminars/conferences on important issues facing the two countries for the development of closer bilateral relations.
The two foundations will also issue joint statements, which will seek to improve understanding of key bilateral issues and raise public awareness of the possibilities for win-win outcomes.
The overall objective of the cooperation between the two foundations would be to strengthen economic, political and people-to-people relations between the two countries.
The MOI was signed by Vivekananda International Foundation Director Ajit Doval and Pathfinder Foundation Chairman Bernard Goonetilleke.
