The no-confidence motion against Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake will be taken for debate in Parliament on 6 July.
Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody said the decision was taken at a party leaders meeting held yesterday.
The no-faith motion signed by nearly 100 lawmakers of the former ruling party United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) was handed over to the Speaker on 18 May. (Colombopage)
