Attorney at Law, Superintendent of Police Ruwan Gunasekara was appointed the Police Media Spokesperson yesterday.
The appointment was made after former Police Media Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General Priyantha Jayakody resigned from the post citing medical reasons.
DIG Priyantha Jayakody in a Facebook post said he had decided to resign from his post due to his prevailing medical condition.
