National Integrity Award completes ten years

Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the presentation of the first National Integrity Award yesterday (9). The event is held every year to coincide with the UN Anti-Corruption Day which was also celebrated yesterday. The award ceremony took place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) at 4 p.m. Through the National Integrity Award, TISL honours and recognises the inspirational efforts of many an unsung hero who work silently and diligently towards eradicating corruption and establishing good governance in their spheres of influence. Over the past ten years TISL has recognised both individuals and organisations for their efforts in fighting against corruption and promoting integrity.
