Municipality adds to Colombo’s traffic congestion

Usually traffic signals are installed to ease traffic congestion at junctions. However the new signals installed by the Municipality at the R.A. de Mel Mawatha (Duplication Road/ Bullers Road) cross road junction seem to be doing exactly the opposite. Due to the absolutely poor planning and design, now with the traffic lights in operation, there is always a huge traffic jam at all hours of the day.
