Mos-Lanka Holdings Ltd has clinched the prestigious International Arch of Europe in the Gold category awarded by the globally recognised Business Initiative Directions.
The award was presented at a glittering ceremony held at the Inter Continental Frankfurt Convention Centre in Germany on 26 April. The event was attended by companies from 72 countries, leaders in various business fields, professionals in the fields of economics, arts and corporate image, quality experts, academics and diplomats.
The 28th International Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology (IAEQT) 2015 was part of the annual program of BID Awards, designed to recognise the prestige of outstanding companies, organisations and businessmen worldwide.
Research and analysis carried out through quality hunters, leaders, entrepreneurs and experts in quality, directed by BID led to the recognition of Mos-Lanka Holdings for its contribution in terms of leadership, quality and excellence.
Business Initiative Directions (BID) is the leading private organisation worldwide for quality culture through the Quality Mix Plan and the International BID Award for Quality. Over the last 29 years BID has presented its award for Quality and its TQM model QC 100 is implemented in more than 100 countries.
In making the award BID noted that the IAEQT Committee’s decision to confer Gold on Mos-Lanka Holdings was based on information gathered by an international structure of experts in business communication, who also researched great segments of public and private information sources, such as the media, publications, advertising, trade fairs and exhibitions, consultancy companies, universities, chambers of commerce, embassies and their commercial offices.
The selection committee observed that the recognition of Mos-Lanka’s achievements in the realm of quality culture had created a natural platform for broadcasting its position as a leader in its community and sector.
BID, ranked as the most important private organisation which presented quality awards on a global level relied on solid principles. It has professional relationships with companies in 179 countries whose products and services help position them as leaders who invest in innovation, technology, training and installations.
Among the primary benefits to awarded companies and organisations is the renewal of quality commitment through the QC100 TQM associated with the award and sharing of quality culture internally and externally both through publicising the news and transmission of the values of quality management within the organisation. The graphic material of the award ceremony would be featured in publications associated with the International Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology Award.
Creator of the first edition of QC100 TQM, Jose E. Prieto, founded the publishing group JBAN in 1973. Joined by international partners in 1986, they co-created BID, whose primary activity is oriented towards promoting quality culture amongst leading companies worldwide.
