Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel has come forward as the Official Mobile Services Provider for the ‘Deyata Kirula 2012’ exhibition.
The national exhibition, held for the sixth consecutive year, will be declared open by the President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Oyamaduwa in Anuradhapura on Independence Day 4 February and will continue until 10 February.
Mobitel, Sri Lanka’s National Mobile Services Provider under the guidance of the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, who has played a pivotal role in empowering the ICT sector in Sri Lanka, is keen to drive the nation towards a more technology-enabled future in line with President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s vision of increasing ICT literacy levels to 75% and making Sri Lanka the knowledge hub in Asia.
Mobitel, the national mobile services provider of Sri Lanka will showcase the endless possibilities in mobile technology through its latest products and services to the general public at the Deyata Kirula 2012 exhibition stall.
This is the fourth year that Mobitel has extended its support towards this national exhibition, which has consistently upheld its objective of enlightening the public on national pride and the nation’s development targets.
