Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Sarath Amunugama will leave for Geneva on 30 June to attend the Annual Ministerial Review of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSEOC) scheduled to be held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from 1 to 4 July.
The theme of the conference will be, “Science, technology and innovation and the potential of culture for promoting sustainable development and achieving the millennium development goals”.
Dr. Amunugama will represent the Government of Sri Lanka at the above conference.
