Minister Amunugama chief guest at Jinnah Scholarship Award Ceremony

Dr. Sarath Amunugama was the chief guest at the Jinnah Scholarship Award Ceremony held at Galadari Hotel recently. The government of Pakistan initiated an annual scholarship scheme under the name of ‘Jinnah Scholarship’ since 2006. The aim of the scheme is to award stipends and certificates to brilliant Sri Lankan students passing ‘O’ level ‘A’ level and some other deserving students. Pakistan High Commission short-listed 150 students for the awards for this year.
