Members of the Association Of Old Royalists’ 1962 Group and their families resident worldwide would be participating in their first-ever official meeting outside the shores of Sri Lanka, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the formation of their group association which was with the inaugural general meeting held at the Royal College Main Hall in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in March 1978.
The motto of the association is “friends-forever”. To commence proceedings of the ‘Mega-Summit-Toronto-2013’ which would be held from 4 to 9 July, Royal College Old Boys’ Association in Canada (ROCOBA) President Thillairajah Kukendran who himself is a Royal life-member of the Association of Old Royalists’ 1962 Group will host all ‘friends-forever’ to a welcome dinner at his residence at No. 80, Newport Street, Brampton, Ontario, L6S4S7, on the evening of Thursday 4 July. The organising committee on the mega-summit comprise members resident in Canada and the United States of America, namely Rajaratnam Balamohan, Manik Punithakumar, Thillirajah Kukendran, Rohan A. Udugampola and Mohamed Rafi Zanoon.
