A 14 member delegation from the German Asia Pacific Business Association (OAV) and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce from areas such as garments, mineral exploration and real estate, foreign trade, induction technology, transportation, engineering, as well as the Chambers of Commerce together with German Ambassador to Sri Lanka Jörn Rohde called on Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera last week and engaged in discussions on business and trade opportunities in Sri Lanka.
This is the second German business delegation to visit Sri Lanka, following the visits of the Foreign Minister and President to Germany in February this year.
