Main suspect of Rs. 10 m Slave Island robbery identified

The main suspect in the Rs. 10 million robbery that took place in Slave Island was identified by witnesses at an identification parade and he was ordered to be remanded till 25 September by the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
The main suspect Sanjeewa Pushpakumara who left the country soon after the robbery incident took place and was arrested at the Katunayake Airport by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) while returning to the country. He was held in CCD custody for over three months for further questioning.
