The controversial Buddhist monk said that the Chief Prelates had strongly “blessed” their proposed program of work.
“They very kindly and lovingly advised us to refrain from sparring with Ministers and to resolve these issues through discussion,” the monk added.
Gnanasara Thero said the BBS had handed over a report to the Mahanayakes regarding these issues.
They had no hatred towards any individuals, he said.
“If there are accusations hurled at a monk, we are all human. There is no hatred or anger and there is definitely no politics. We are conducting a national program.
