LAUGFS Southern Petroleum opens for biz in Kurunegala

Southern Petroleum Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of LAUGFS Holdings, has strengthened its island wide presence with the opening of another fuel station in Kurunegala recently for the vehicle owners and customers in the area to drive in and experience high octane fuel and other petroleum products with a customer centric approach.

The fuel station was established as part of a rapid expansion drive of the company. It is operated in partnership with Lanka IOC PLC under an MoU signed between the two parties last year. Lanka IOC is a venture of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., a Fortune 500 company, and is the only private oil company that operates retail fuel stations in Sri Lanka. “We at LAUGFS believe that it is our responsibility to expand our services to meet the growing demand for fuel and it is greatly satisfying to extend our network to the city of Kurunegala,” said LAUGFS Holdings Chairman W.K.H.
