A team of King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Aid delivered 200 tons of dates as a gift from the Saudi Arabian Government to Sri Lankan people.
Sri Lankan Minister of Posts, Post Service and Islamic Affairs Mohamed Hashim Abdulhaleem received the consignment, expressing thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Government of Saudi Arabia for the humanitarian gesture.
The delivery ceremony was attended by a number of officials from both sides, led by acting Saudi Charge d’Affaires in Colombo Mamdouh Allaf.
