Keheliya recovering from surgery in Australia after fall

Minister of Mass Media and Information Keheliya Rambukwella has been injured in a fall and admitted to a hospital in Melbourne, Australia, reports reaching Colombo said. Quoting family sources local media reports said the Minister who was on a personal visit to Melbourne has suffered a fall in his hotel injuring his knee.

The Minister has reportedly undergone two minor surgeries at a Melbourne hospital and he is not in any danger.

The Minister is expected to return to the country after a few days of recovery following the surgery. (Colombo Page)
