Karu chairs session at South Asian Speakers’ Summit

The South Asian Speakers’ Summit on Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals was held from 18-20 February in Madhya Pradesh, India. 

The summit discussed regional development, agriculture, health, climatic changes and inter-parliamentary cooperation. The Speaker of Sri Lanka Parliament Karu Jayasuriya chaired the session on ‘Climatic Changes in the Region’.
