JVP to hold seminar series ‘Who Profits from Cheap Work’

Colombo: The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) has organised a series of seminars island wide to inform the public on the political situation of the country, a party spokesman said.

The theme of the series of seminars is ‘Who Profits from Cheap Work’ and the first seminar will be held at Public Library auditorium on 8 September, at 3 p.m.

JVP general secretary Tilvin Silva will deliver the keynote address.

The JVP spokesman said that they would focus on the issues such as import of low quality petrol and cement, replacing emergency with strengthened anti-terrorism laws etc. (Colombo Page)
