Iran expresses sympathy over Sri Lanka landslide deaths

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has expressed sympathy to the Sri Lankan Government and nation over the deaths caused by the massive landslide on an upcountry tea plantation.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham on Sunday expressed the deep sadness of the Iranian nation and Government over the disaster that struck the village of Koslanda Meeriya Bedda estate in the Badulla District on Wednesday.
Afkham prayed for the peace of the souls of victims and wished patience for the bereaved families, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.
