India’s Deputy National Security Advisor meets Gota

Defence Ministry level talks were held between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo. The Deputy National Security Advisor of India Nehchal Sandhu met the Secretary of Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Ministry premises yesterday and had discussions on various issues.

The Ministry of Defence said that the talks focused on areas of mutual interest but did not specify further details. It said that the talks were cordial and as a gesture of goodwill and friendship mementos were exchanged between both officials.
