Hambantota Mayor remanded again

Mayor of Hambantota Eraj Fernando was remanded until 20 May, after he was produced before Hambantota Magistrate Isuru Neththikumara yesterday.

The Mayor is accused of entering a police station in Ambalantota and attempting to forcibly take away a suspect in custody.
