A distribution of 1,000 mattresses was made by SLMC Leader and Minister of City Planning and Water Supply Rauff Hakeem with an allocation from his ministerial fund to the flood-affected families. The donation took place at the Gorathoda Vihara and the Akurassa mosque premises and cleaning program for well water systems at Viyangalla in Kalutara District.
